Gratitude and Appreciation: Gratitude is the attitude for altitude. If you’re ever discouraged, find five things to appreciate about yourself, other people or your life. Share these appreciations with others. Your discouragement will disappear. This is a core practice for raising your level of consciousness.
Loving Kindness: Send to at least five people daily including yourself and others. Parents, children, lovers, teachers, benefactors both unseen and known, all my relations, rock, plant and animal, and especially to the Source of all Creation.
Thank You and Acknowledgment: At least once per day before you sleep give thanks to the Lord of the Universe, to Source for all the blessings received, for the small miracles and coincidences discovered during the day.
Namaste: Speak this silently to all you meet on the path every day. Say quietly to yourself as you pass, “The spirit in me re-cognizes the spirit in you.”
Circle of Peace: Whenever possible at home or on the road, create a circle of peace in your space. Sit at least ten minutes everyday in the circle. This is how Rumi became enlightened.

Focusing: Set an egg-timer for two-minutes while you focus all your attention on an object, plant or thing in your space. This could be a candle, gazing at the sun, moon. When you feel your attention drifting call it back. You may sit, stand or walk around.
Before Thought/Feeling: Intuitive mode of consciousness is strengthened by entering this primordial state. Go with your first gut feeling, first impression of a situation. Listen intently. This is what Buddhist, Tibetan monks practice to become enlightened. Enter the before-thought state of consciousness (nagual).
Observing/Noticing/Watching/Witnessing: Observation mode of consciousness is entered by stepping outside your normal realm of perception and watching what’s occurring both externally and within you. Become an eagle hovering above your head and watch what you’re doing/being at this moment. This is what the film “What the Bleep” was primarily referring to. “Watch…yourself, the thoughts in your head.”
Being “In Sync” and Connected with Beloved: Telepathically connect at a specified time with a Beloved of your choosing who is not physically present at this time. This telepathic connection is reinforced if you are both engaged in a similar activity. It is not contingent on space or time. This can be done is conjunction with any other practices for beloveds.
Giving Spiritual Instructions: You can command your mind to not only focus attention, but also direct the intention of whatever you desire to create. If you want more of something, or less of another, then give yourself spiritual instructions. “Be…happy, holy, healthy.”"Become…an observer, a master of time.”
Clearing the Mind Field: Re-mind (reset your beliefs to no preconceptions) yourself. Re-member (become whole again). Re-cognize (to see again).
Sunrise/Sunset: Agnihotra is a sunrise/sunset fire ceremony ritual now becoming popular in the West. In your own way find some ritual to honor the sunrise and sunset each day.
From Imbalance to Balance:
Sourcing Directly: Recite this simple chant, “I am Source.” “God is…I am, Love is…I am…Joy is…I am…Peace is…I am…”
