Editor’s Note: When I first heard this prayer during a high mass for the Church of Mary Magdalene I sensed the importance of this version of The Lord’s Prayer from a feminine perspective.

Our Mother, Thou who art in the heart of Gaia,
May the holiness of Thy name awaken our remembering.
May the breath of Thy loving presence
Warm the hearts of all who wander homeless.
May the resurrection of Thy memory
Renew our faith eternally.

We receive this day Your nurturing substance
To fill our cup of need,
And implore Thee to forgive us for forgetting Thee.
We ready ourselves to receive Your blessings.
Mother, lead us toward the light
And the birth of the Christ within.

For Love is the Kingdom
Nurturing is the Power,
And Your wisdom with all merciful grace is the Glory
For all peoples, now and forevermore!

Longing to know the depths of life’s mystery, I passed my time in contemplation. On lonely walks into the night, amid the splattered moonlight beneath the shelter of the forest, I dreamt of the spirit world.

As I dreamt, the scent of a faraway wind gave hint of a revelation made more pure by my passage through darkness.

Gazing humbly into the limitless sky, I marveled to myself: “In these vast, magnificent heavens, who am I? From where have I come and by what means do I appear here? What better purpose have I than to marvel at my predicament in the ambiguity of time?”

The starlight whispered a message from the prophet’s invisible presence:

Time is the heartbeat of eternity, a soundless throb rippling through the depths of space. Mother Ocean performs her rhythmic dance with the moon, measuring time ceaselessly. Father Mountain knows time as aeons of precipitation carve canyons into his stubborn resistance.

Ticking perpetually on a seamless sequence of moments, time is the gatekeeper to all phenomena. And none can stay the hands thereof, as all things change.

Yet suspended on glistening threads of perception, between clouded memories of having been and a forever approaching horizon, you are the still witness of all that passes before you.

Every wonderful thing vanishes, every sweet feeling fades as you remain the unseen observer. And from your first thought, time is born.

In your search for truth, look beyond the lineal fields of time and logic. Climbing a conceptual ladder on rungs of reasoning, you will simply arrive where you have always been.

Truth is a paradoxical abyss that you stumble upon, and there it is, smiling at you, unadorned and as irrational as love.

In the quiet of your heart you can intuit the laws that scupt your life and shape your destiny. Shake off your preconceived opinions. Each moment you dip your cup into the river of creation it is fresh and news.

A truth uttered dwells but a moment upon your lips. And a truth remembered is not truth; it is yesterday’s reflection in the mirror of time. Concepts cast spells upon immaculate perception, reducing the miraculous to facts.

Listen to the serenity beyond the semblance of these thoughts. Release your mind from any mirage of meaning. Let your tongue taste more than the stale breath of knowledge drawn from books of another time and place.  Be a beacon of the truth that springs from the spontaneous impulse of your soul.

You are the Living Truth.

You are a ray of the Supreme Being who illuminates your world with consciousness, that you may delight in fields of dreams. With the first wink of the sun your daydream begins: you think you are awake, but your dream goes on in the sleep of forgetfulness.

Could you remember who you are, you would laugh with the gods at the absurdity of your seriousness. And know that before and after all this has come and gone – There you are as I am.

Author’s Note: This is in honor of My Beloved Johnny, who has inspired Me to new depths of Love, and assisted My expansion of who I truly Am. I Love You Johnny!

The day was sunny and filled with wonder. I decided to go for a walk down to the river where my dear friend Bella lived. I was about to knock on her front door when I was magnetically pulled toward the flower garden on the side of the house.

As I walked through the gate into her yard I noticed a hummingbird on the beautiful statue of the Madonna, and in that instant my perception shifted.

I felt magically altered and goose bumps covered my body. It was as if I was drawn into a vortex, where everything seemed still and the surroundings had a supernatural glow. I couldn’t lift my feet and I was mindfully aware of someone in the roses at the far corner of the yard, staring at theriver flowing by.

My mind was still but noticing was still happening. Everything seemed to be pointing me toward the figure of the man sitting quietly in the garden, his back to me. Suddenly the hummingbird flew over to the quiet one. It landed on the lavender to the right of him. Somewhere inside of me I could hear him calling in a still small voice. The vowels and consonants vibrated in my heart.

I continued to walk toward him . Again I heard the voice within singing with a combination of joy and sadness “Angelina, you are so missed.” My mind now struggled to comprehend the events seeming so “out of time.” Then my feet, as of on their own accord started moving, one in front of the other. The closer I came to the figure, the more my body would quiver. As I approached him from behind, getting closer and closer, I could feel my limbs shaking. I heard his voice.

To my ears his words seemed like a sacred flute calling me home. He said “you have come. I am so grateful.” I said “who are you?” He stared into my eyes and suddenly I was transported to another lifetime in Leumuria, where we had been together living in the sea. We had beautiful bodies
half-fish and half-man/woman. Passionately we wrapped our bodies together in sacred union shrieking blissfully.

Then, as quickly as I had been taken to the deep sea, we were in another dimension. We were light beings, with ethereal bodies, our children being born spontaneously of our thoughts and love was thick in this new world. Again we were transported to the top of the Andes. He a shaman and I his apprentice, with panthers at our feet. We went from scene to scene, lifetime to lifetime. As the visions faded and the garden reappeared, my eyes were filled with tears.

He moved toward me and touched my cheek. I could smell his scent and it drew me to him, my head resting on his heart. I once again looked in his eyes, smiling with remembrance. “You are he who I have been dreaming of for many nights. You always bring me a single white rose in my dream. Have you been looking for me long, my darling?” said I. “For all of my life, Beloved” he whispered. As we walked and talked I hadn’t noticed the time pass by or remember about the mission I was on to visit Bella that day.

But all seemed in perfect order and we spent the day roaming in nature, sometimes talking, sometimes not. We found ourselves embracing, weeping in ecstasy, thanking The Great One for bringing us together again. We took vows with the nature spirits as our witness, to love and honor, create a life together and support each others growth. As we kissed for the first time to seal our vows, a couple of geese passed over. They honked as if to give their blessing to our union. As the sun set behind the mountains we raised our voices in unison, chanting sacred sounds, reveling in God’s miracle.

Later, as we fell to sleep in each others arms that evening I heard him say “Life is grand, is it not my love?” Said I, as I kissed his heart “and so it is beloved!”

Start by experiencing love for yourself and all you have been through to get you to this point in life. And when you feel ready expand your heart and allow your love to flow out to our circle throughout the world. Let’s create a strong focused energy of love just simply pulsating throughout our global community.

Remember that you are part of life and that you cannot give love without receiving love. So as you breathe through your heart allowing love to flow through you remember to breathe in the love so that our circle is complete. The earth, our circle, and the rest of life will not receive your love if you cannot receive the love yourself.

And as you feel yourself part of that pulsation of love allow yourself to experience that flow of love going out to the earth and touching every living being. This includes the elements earth, air, water, and fire and all of life that lives in these elements – the spirit that lives in all things.

We do this to be in service to the planet in the same way we have been guided to for thousands of years. Allow yourself to sink into the true power of love that comes from beyond the thinking mind. Allow it to flow from the depths of your soul. This is true service!!

And when you feel the circle is complete and the unconditional love is flowing come back and continue to breathe deeply allowing the flow of love to continue and the flow of love to be received by you.  Continue this throughout the day into your New Year’s celebrations.

It’s been said that we live in a dream world. That we’re surrounded by dreams. In the Kyballion the Three Initiates say that ALL IS MIND. But have we ever stopped to think about this?

Even the Buddha said, “We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world.”

So this is a little round about way or experiement to help us realize the power that we have…

THE EXPERIMENT

You’re in front of a computer, reading these words.

Question: Where did the computer come from?
Answer: From the store and the store got it from the manufacturer. The creator of the computer.

Q: Where did the creator get the computer from?
A: The creator had an idea for a computer, designed it in detail and then created it. So the computer came from an idea in the Creators mind.

Q: What else is near you?
A: A coffee cup.

Q: So where did the cup come from?
A: It was a gift from my father in law. He bought it in a store and the store bought it from a wholesaler. The wholesaler bought it from its creator.

Q: So where did the creator get it from?
A: The creator had an inspirational idea for a coffee cup, designed it in detail, and then created it. So it came from an idea within the Creator’s mind.

Now look around you and whatever your eye falls upon ask yourself, “Where did this come from?” Let yourself trace it back. Practice this process several time this week.

Is the following statement true and in accordance with what you have learned?

BEHIND ALL THAT IS VISIBLE, THERE IS THE INVISIBLE POWER OF THE MIND.

There is one Awesome Power flowing through all the Universe. It penetrates and permeates both the seen and unseen realms. It is a power for good that is ever present and calls us always to our own divine glory. I call this power Spirit, Creator, the Source.

I know now that I am always one with this power. Forever together in a bond of boundlessness. I know this amazing Spirit works for me because is works through me. And I know that I am truly blessed, for I have been given dominion over my own life and have received the gift of free will.

I accept this gift now.

I open myself to the divine flow of Spirit. I can feel the confidence of my creator wash over me and find myself at ease in this moment. A new certainty comes over me as I know and feel that the universe responds to my command. I shall but say the word and mountains shall move. I shall steer my thoughts to splendor and I will be clothed in garments of light. I dream a dream and know well that it is a reality.

In this magnificent moment I call out to the Infinite Spirit that flows through me and all the Universe and I give thanks for the blessing I call my life. I honor this sacred gift and choose now to create a world worthy of me, my children and all of humanity. I am filled with courage to pursue my dreams. I am filled with the power to make those dreams a reality. I am an infinite Child Of God and I bow down in deep reverence to the miracle of life itself.

Knowing well that my words are full of power and light I release them to the Universal Law of life. I am certain that as I have said it so shall it be.

And so it is.

Existence is the question, your life is the answer.

I give thanks for this precious moment,
This chance to be alive.
For life is sacred, special, and a fragile thing.

Realizing that it may end at any moment
I give thanks for all that I have
And strive to live each day to the fullest.

I have come to realize the power that is within me.
That my former thoughts, words and actions
Became my present state
And right now, in this moment, I’m creating my future.

Understanding this awesome power that I have
It’s my deepest prayer to realize my supreme potential
In the liberated free-play of consciousness,
In this vast expanse,
So that I may inspire others to do the same.

I impress upon my consciousness
States of perfection
Perfect Being, which I’ve found Within
Perfect Wisdom, which I’ve found in Oneness
Perfect Compassion which I’ve found within humanity.

I now know that I live, breathe, and have my being
Within a living field of unified consciousness.
All things arise and fall
Within this field of consciousness.
A sea of infinite potential.
Where thoughts and phenomena,
Are the free play of space.

And in this moment
While there is this “I”
I begin to see the world as it really is,
Perfect and pure.
Where every atom vibrates with joy
And is held together by love.
Where everything is fresh and meaningful,
Radiant with unlimited potential.

I affirm that all the people of the world are created equal and pure,
That abundance, joy, health, and peace
Are the natural and complete states of our being.
I accept these now for myself,
And in doing so I’ve accepted these gifts for all of humanity.

I know now that I have a purpose in life
We all do
And everyday I express that purpose,
And I allow others to do the same.

For I know that we’re all one.
I’m another you
You’re another me
Me is transformed into We
and we’re all in this together.
So I reach out my hands and care for all of life
And I embrace all of the world
Knowing that I have truly touched
The very essence of my own existence.

I give myself the permission to be a miracle
I give myself over to the world
And use my life and all I can share Consciously
So that I may benefit whoever may cross my path.
Even if it’s for just a moment.

For I know it’s in moments like these,
That all of existence is unfolding through us,
And I become certain that heaven is truly here on earth,
And that life is beautiful, perfect and exactly as it should be.

I have become an expression of perfection.
And so it is.
